Olajumoke Oludunmilola Adenowo is one of the richest architects in Nigeria, she is a speaker, author, philanthropist, and entrepreneur. (born 16 October 1968). She started her architecture and interior design firm AD consulting in 1994. Obafemi Awolowo University, where she lived on campus as a student and encouraged her approach to architecture, won the prize for the Best Student Design and graduated with a bachelor of science with honors in architecture at 19 years old. She obtained her Master’s of Science in Architecture, with distinction, from the same university in 1991.

Adenowo has stated that her interest in architecture was ignited by visits to Paris and the Palais de Versailles as a young child, these inspired her design philosophy; architecture must be sensitive to its climatic technological, infrastructural, and physical context. In 1999 she founded the Awesome Treasures Foundation (ATF), UN-recognised, faith-based NGO in Lagos, Nigeria. The foundation has a mission to raise 1000 leaders by 2030 working especially and young people. The majority of her foundation’s programming focuses on disadvantaged women and children. She is also known as an author, broadcaster, and public speaker.
Olajumoke is a Jury Member of the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards. She has presented at the Global Women’s Forum, Harvard Business School, and Solve at MIT. She is a Director at Vocational Training and Professional Development Academy. She was recognized as one of the 100 most influential Nigerians and was also named as one of the most inspiring women in Nigerian

As an architect, Adenowo’s portfolio includes a host of multi-national and Nigerian clients including Coca Cola, L’Oreal, The Nigerian Stock Exchange, Sterling Bank Plc, and Intercontinental Bank Plc, etc. in 2018 she was recognized by the Royal Institute of British Architects as one of the most inspirational women in architecture today. She is the recipient of the Cambridge African Society Award and has been honored as an Ambassador of Excellence for outstanding achievement in Architecture and women development by her alma mater.
